Flossing can stop your gums from bleeding. The more you floss, the more your gums will get used to the task. Also, the more you floss, the more you’ll remove bacteria from the gumline. One of the major causes of bleeding gums is your body sending blood cells to the gums to fight the infection threatened by that bacteria. So, the more you floss, the less your gums will bleed.

Flossing can help you have a healthier body. Plaque also promotes gum disease by sticking between the teeth and irritating the gums. If the plaque isn’t removed, it can grow and infect the smile. Gum disease has been proven to be linked to major health issues, like heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. So, the more you floss and prevent gum disease, the healthier gums and body you can have.
